ClaimReadiness

Cookies & Privacy Choices

1. Essential browser storage and platform services

The app uses sessionStorage for a temporary claim draft across checkout, with a 24-hour application expiry. Successful report generation clears that draft. Optional privacy permissions are separate: the analytics preference is saved in localStorage for 180 days to remember your choice; speech permission stays in page memory and resets on refresh or when you leave. Google Analytics cookies, if previously allowed, are separate from this permission state. Agreement to optional services is not required for essential checkout storage.

This publicly accessible Site uses ChatGPT Sites hosting and platform services. That platform can use authentication/security cookies and request metadata. Stripe uses its own payment/security technologies when you navigate to hosted checkout. These provider systems are not described as anonymous, consent-free for every purpose, or controlled by a single ClaimReadiness preference; the operator must verify their purposes and legal basis. No optional Stripe SDK or tracking pixel is embedded on the ClaimReadiness page.

2. Optional speech, analytics and advertising

Browser speech recognition is optional and is disabled until a specific positive choice. Selecting ‘Allow speech and start’ after choosing speech gives permission for the browser's speech service to process audio under its own terms. Microphone permission is also needed. You can type, pay and use the rest of the service without enabling speech. Choosing ‘Use typing instead’ is as easy as allowing speech and does not reduce the core service.

Google Analytics is available only after you select Allow analytics. Decline analytics is equally available; declining does not limit typing, checkout or reports. The Google tag is not requested before opt-in. Analytics cookies can persist according to Google Analytics settings (the standard _ga lifetime can be up to two years), and this app remembers your allow or decline choice for 180 days on this browser. Turning analytics off disables measurement and attempts to clear accessible Google Analytics cookies. Advertising consent remains denied; allowing speech does not allow analytics, and allowing analytics does not allow speech. No ad pixels, behavioural advertising tags, session replay tools or remote font requests are configured by ClaimReadiness. Browser script, image, connection and font policies also restrict unapproved third-party resources.

3. Change or withdraw a choice

Use Privacy choices in the footer to turn analytics off or select Reset optional choices to withdraw analytics and speech permission. No speech prompt appears before you choose speech. Speech permission resets on refresh; analytics stays off until allowed and consent is never inferred from scrolling, continuing, paying or accepting Terms. Withdrawal stops active speech recognition and blocks another session, while typing continues to work. It cannot erase audio already processed by the browser's provider. To remove device-local material, use your browser's storage controls.

Global Privacy Control keeps analytics, sale and cross-context advertising off; analytics cannot be enabled through this app while that signal is active. The analytics preference is remembered between page loads for 180 days; speech permission is not. Typing remains available without either permission. This is a technical control and notice, not a guarantee that a user's browser or unrelated extensions never send data independently of the app.

Allow browser speech recognition?

Your browser may send audio to its speech provider for transcription. ClaimReadiness does not record the audio. You can type instead, and you can turn speech off in Privacy choices.
